Research and Development
We have one of the largest carbon R&D groups in Europe for the development of specialty carbon materials. Many of our customers have specific requirements such as lamination to other media, slitting and cutting to shape, impregnation with chemisorbtion agents or catalyst materials. We are happy to discuss any non standard requirements you may have.
Our Basingstoke based laboratory (23,000 sq.ft. of labs and pilot plants) has extensive facilities for making and characterising carbon materials, in particular we have controlled atmosphere furnace systems ranging from 600C to 2800C in batch and continuous forms and scales from small laboratory to commercial scale.
